We bought our daughter some Neocubix Magnet balls for Christmas and she loved them so much we decide to order an additional set in a different color. Unfortunately what we received were balls that were much smaller. If the seller would have bothered to post the ball size in their description, the mix up could have been avoided.

These are so small I don't see how anyone could play with them.

Also, we didn't receive the pouch they were supposed to ship with.

*Update: The seller wants me to pay for shipping them back.


Neocubix Magnet Balls With Velvet Pouch . Review by laserjock (McLean, VA USA)

I got these to add to the several sets of magnet balls that I already have - Buckyballs, Nanospheres, and Magnet Balls. All the others are 5 mm, but these are 4.4, so they aren't very compatible. They are also not very strong - the other brands will hold all magnets in a long line, but these do not support the weight of the strand. I think the 5mm ones feel much better (at least for someone like me with big hands), but these are plain tiny and wimpy feeling. 12% smaller might not seem like much, but when you figure that this means a 30% lower weight, you really notice the difference. They are okay for making simple planar structures, but that's it. My kids don't like them either compared to the others.

If you're only ever going to get one set, I suppose you could live with these, but then I'd spend the extra $2-3 bucks and get a set that is known to be 5mm.

(In other brands, the comments have arguments about the magnet size, so I want to be very clear that I've measured these accurately, both by caliper measurement and by laying out a chain of 100 and measuring it to be 440 mm long. Thus each one is 4.4 mm diameter, or 12% smaller than other brands).

I've had several Mega Lead pencils. I concur that they write great, the lead doesn't break and, for me, the pencil has a great feel.....but....I've also experienced the "broken pocket clip" issue. The clip is weak and when it breaks, it breaks. Once the clip is gone so is much of the usefulness of the pencil for me. Just putting it down on the desk allows it roll all over the place. Still, I love the feel and the writing capabilities, so I'll probably remain a customer of these units. Nothing short of a Pentel P209 matches the strong lead feel.

This is the only pencil I use. It is comfortable, and the extra long eraser and generous amounts of lead make it last forever. I do agree that the pocket clip is weak, and the pencil rolls forever without it. I have never had lead advance "on its own", but sometimes I do accidentally advance it when I erase. I'm a teacher, and I come across a lot of pencils, and I've never seen one that compares with this pencil. It is without a doubt the best pencil on the market. A couple of them last me the entire school year.

The Shuffle might be the poor man's music player these days, but it does a fine job of what it sets out to do. Once you have iTunes (free downloadable Apple software) on your computer, putting music on your iPod is as simple as dragging and dropping files into the iPod's playlist. The device sports 1 gigabyte of storage, which is still enough for hours of music. When you want to listen to some music, you just pop in the earbuds, turn on the power, and hit play. The Shuffle is durable and small enough to put in a pocket, and the controls are so simple you will probably not even have to look at the iPod to use them.

The main downside is the inability to navigate through your music files to select a specific artist or song. The player can either go through your playlist top to bottom or "shuffle" it and play songs randomly. You can skip or go back through the list, but that's it. So the Shuffle works great when you just want to have a soundtrack playing in the background, not so great when you want a friend to hear this new song you just downloaded on to it.

Overall, it's a very solid and functional package for the price, and like most of Apple's products, it looks somewhat cool and stylish.

These bags are not flimsy or weak. I had the "other" green bag and it would leak all the time. Other bags has a seam at the bottom of the bag so this is where it would leak fluids. Bag To Nature is seamless on the bottom. Super strong and will leak! Only compost bag I will buy!
