I too had trouble with this stroller rolling. If I hadn't recycled the packaging, I would have returned this immediately, it cannot roll on grass at all. It cannot roll on packed gravel, I have to use the bar to get it over large bumps in the sidewalks.

I think the worst thing is when I contacted the manufacturer, their response was, "You didn't buy it here, we can't help you." I was able to get it to roll over cement better by loosening the nuts holding the wheels on. If you are going to spring for a reversible stroller, I would look for one that rolls better. I regret selling my BOB Revolution to get this stroller. This stroller is just as bulky as the BOB and without the air filled wheels, is a piece of garbage.

I just wish I could return it for something better because I can't imagine suffering through using it for 2+ years. I also had an issue with my Uppa Baby umbrella stroller that carries a 2 year warranty. They were amazing, are fixing the minor issues it has developed after almost two years and I couldn't be happier with them. I did find myself wishing I had purchased a new all around stroller from them.

We had the Chicco Cortina but my son hated it. He hated lying in it or in the car seat. I mostly carried him in the Moby when we were out. Then we traveled and borrowed a stroller, and all of a sudden he was happy and considered it his new home! He was only 3.5 months old. The difference? He could face me, which helped him shut out stimuli when he got tired and he was able to be calm and go to sleep.

Flash forward back home, we went out in search for a replacement stroller. The one we had borrowed was a fancy Teutonia $1000 model with Jeep-like suspension, great for European cobblestone but quite overkill for flat streets in CA not to mention way too heavy for lifting into the car (oh, and out of our price range). My requirements were: Be able to face forward or backward, recline completely flat, be easy to fold and light to lift into the car. The Bumbleride Flyer fits the bill! We left the store and my then 4.5month-old son was happy lying flat, playing with a toy, being able to see us. It's now a year later and we're still quite happy with it.

Overall I'm pleased with my Bumbleride Flyer for many of the same reasons other reviewers have identified. However, my biggest con is the folding. I am fairly average size person (5'4", 110 lbs) but I struggle with folding and unfolding. My much stronger husband can easily unfold it open, but I squat on the floor and open one side, then open the other side, then stand up while trying to "shake" it open...I feel like a fool every time I open or close it. I've tried my girlfriends' strollers and they are so much easier to open! Also, the catch lock is so annoying. You have to "open" it but because of the positioning it still catches while trying to open. Also, I visited my sister in NYC with the Bumbleride and this stroller is NOT for the city. It's too big and bulky for the tiny restaurants, stores and tight hallways and sidewalks, but I didn't buy it for that purpose so it's not a problem for me.
