Our house had been invaded. We were pushed back to the brink. I didn't think we were going to make it out alive. I managed to get an internet signal for long enough to order some of these traps off amazon.
By the time the traps arrived, we had already seen 3 of our companions consumed by the Meal Moths. I looked down the hallway and then made a dash for the front door. The package was glowing with power. I ripped own the box and assembled a dozen traps. Me and my mate then stormed the house placing these handy little traps around food areas and some of the other typical Moth hot spots.
You'd have thought that we just opened up a full service strip club for moths the way those males flocked. Within a few weeks, the vast male population of moths were stuck fast to the traps.
It's been a month now since the incident. We still see a few lonely moths, but for the most part, we have experienced a successful massacre.
In short, I recommend these.

After reading a lot of positive reviews on this site and many others, I bought the 12 pack from HOMAX and expected good results. Took them out and placed one up -- no results. Moths flew right by it, landed by it, but none went in. Put up another trap, same result. Put up several more, same result -- many, many moths land by it but don't go in. Read somewhere that moths get confused if there are too many in close proximity, so I placed one in each room of the house -- same result. At all times I was very careful not to touch the pheremone strips, so I wouldn't contaminate the product. I even tried placing two pheremone strips in one trap -- nothing. Based on what I've read, I still believe pheremone traps work, but I think I got a faulty CATCHMASTER product from HOMAX. I read somewhere that the traps have a shelf life of two years. Mine were probably older than that and, thus, are no longer effective. There are no dates on the packaging, so there is no way to tell how old they are. I'm going to buy a different pheremone product from a different vendor. These CATCHMASTER traps from HOMAX don't work.

I have had trouble ridding my pantry of small moths. It seems they came to my home in a bag of contaminated brown rice and almost took over. I went out and bought the "Safer"brand traps from my local hardware store. They were very effective but over $4 a trap . As soon as I opened a trap moths began coming toward the lure. Needless to say, I was excited when I found the "Catchmater" traps on Amazon for less than $2 a trap. From the description I thought they would be comparable to the "Safer" traps. This was not the case. Some of the Catchmaster traps attracted moths while others did not. Moving the traps to another area did not make a difference. The traps that did catch moths seemed to take several days until moths came around. I was thinking some of the lures could be old or just not baited with a good chemical. Basically, I was disappointed with the results and would rather spend extra money on something I can be sure would work. Next time I will go back to my hardware store. These moths are pesky and you have to stay on top of the problem and certainly don't want to waste time on something that does not work.
