The pot worked very well using a very low heat source. The lid is heavy and seals the steam in. My only problem was in having oil in the cooking broth for the beans. They did not get soft as fast as when water only is used. The pot is very pretty to look at. I prefer this pot to a pressure cooker for cooking meat in stews. To me, the high pressure and temperature of a pressure cooker diminish the taste of the stew ingredients.

I have a regular size Nuwave which I use at home. We purchased the Mini-Nuwave to have at our week-end get-a-way place. It works well for that. Did 2 frozen steaks from frozen solid to golden brown in less than 30 minutes. Clean up is easy. Bottom does not clamp on well enough to carry unit by the handle.

The reason I purchased this oven is because I owned a Delonghi toaster oven for 11 years and loved it. The old Delonghi oven stopped working properly a few months ago, so I searched and found this new model Delonghi. It is like comparing a fake Rolex to a real Rolex. The new Delonghi is made with the quality of a toy oven. Everything about it is ultra flimsy and cheap. And most importantly, it won't heat food very well. I have to turn the heat as high as it will go just to rewarm food and it takes twice as long to heat the food as the old oven. Stay away from this oven, it is garbage. I guess now I have to buy a $250 Breville toaster oven to get the quality that I am used to.

Here's an update (10/26/11). I purchased this Delonghi oven from CONSUMER WHOLESALES (thru Amazon) in early July 2011. I contacted CONSUMER WHOLESALES last week to try to get the unit replaced under warranty. CONSUMER WHOLESALES instructed me to take the unit to a local Costco and that Costco would exchange the unit or refund my money, and they gave me a Costco order number to use. This sounded really bizarre so I questioned it and CONSUMER WHOLESALES told me that they are a "partner reseller" of Costco. This sounded really strange but I figured I'd give it a shot. So I took the oven to Costco and even spoke with the manager (I am a Costco member BTW). Costco denied me returning the unit or exchanging it, and the Costco manager said she has no idea who CONSUMER WHOLESALES is.

So I filed an A-Z claim with Amazon, and Amazon won't do anything to help, saying there is nothing they can do.

CONSUMER WHOLESALES refuses to do anything to warranty this product. So I have spent $140 on a toaster oven and three months later I have to throw it in the garbage.

Evidently CONSUMER WHOLESALES is simply buying units from Costco and reselling them at a higher price on Amazon. Bottom-line: CONSUMER WHOLESALES is a scam because they cannot/won't warranty products that they bought from a retailer, and they lied to me telling me that Costco would stand behind something CONSUMER WHOLESALES sold.

I had a Delonghi that was over 7 years old. I used it every day instead of my large oven and loved the fact that I could dehydrate in it also. The heating elements became warped and it was hard to put something with any height in the oven because the element would burn it so I decided it was time to replace it. I did my due deligence and found this one. I am very happy with it, some of the features are an improvement over my previous one.
It automatically turns off after 30 minutes unless you reset the time, which is fine with me so I know I won't burn anything:)
I'm still working on perfecting the dehydrator and I'm sure I will figure it out. I've only used it once since I got the oven 3 weeks ago.

We just bought a house and our old table wouldn't fit. This is a neat little table that fits perfectly in our dining area. It seems sturdy but we did have one issue while putting it together. A hole wasn't drilled in one of the chairs! Other than that it will be great for my husband and I to eat at.

Great product manufactured of good quality wood. The top could double as a cutting board. It is perfect for my small kitchen. The only downside so far is that the stool tops upon which you sit are too small and when the table is open, the front wheels remain off the ground thus rendering the locks on them useless. It will then roll around a bit. With some personal adjustments I'm sure this can be taken care of.

Overall, this is not a bad little table. It was really easy to assemble, I did it in under an hour. The pieces are real wood, not particle board or anything like that, which is really nice. The table and stools sit a little lower than I anticipated, but it still works for my intended purpose. The leaf part of the table isn't quite as sturdy as I would like, so I wouldn't recommend putting anything too heavy on that side. Overall it works well as a breakfast nook for my small kitchen. This is definitely a good buy if that's what you're after.

Like other reviewers, I like these bowls and use them often, however trying to get the lids on them is a struggle! For this price I should have purchased the All Clad Mixing Bowl Set (since I can't use the lids anyway).

These are great bowls in terms of build quality and sturdiness, the silicone rubber bases adhere smoothly and _solidly_ to the bowl's surface - my main worry when looking at a SS bowl with a rubber base was that over time the seal of the rubber would become loose, allowing unsanitary food to build up in the gap between the bowl surface and the rubber. It appears, after some moderately heavy use, that these are very well sealed and are unlikely to separate. My only (slight) complaint is that the bowls are not completely curved, and have a slight flare at the lip. I think this is intended to make them easier to hold, e.g. while whisking (as opposed to very round bowls), but if it matters to you, please take note.

Contrary to the other reviews regarding the lids not fitting, I have had NO problem with my lids. The lids fit great, tight, and the way they are supposed to. You SHOULD NOT put the lids in the dishwasher though. (As with any lid) Bowl quality is excellent and non skid bottoms are excellent as well. It doesn't appear that they will come off...Sizes are PERFECT! Highly recommeded product for the money! I would DEFINITELY purchase these as a gift for someone! The inside is like a brushed steel look - awesome!

Ain't never wrote anything like this before. Not knowing beans about dehydrators I took a chance on the STX Dehyra. I received it withing 3 day from way out yonder on the other side of the Great Miss River, wow.

We were all hyped up getting it so fast and immediately went to the peach orchard and got a basket full of peaches. Me, my slim and daughter were all hyped up and started slicing peaches and in not time flat we were standing in amazement wondering what would happen.

Plop a total failure. I saw immediately I was in the way. So.........I went to my easy chair and started figuring why we had some dried, some wet and some sorta dried. As I could feel a good ole rebellion coming on I put the figuring cap on. Then all of a sudden it came out of the blue....like a greased pig.

I then throwed the white flag up and sorta eased into the kitchen and very sweetly while speaking softly and ask them to sit down.

I explained to them the reason it came all messed up is because we all sliced the peaches into different size slices. Then told them to go and buy one of those slanted splicer thingy and explained it would not only speed up the process, but would have the same thickness.

OK 1 2 3 second test. Wow all of the sudden ole Fat Jack turned into a Smiling Jack and became an instant hero in my on home.

Now every morning as I go into the kitchen I peep and see my sweetie Slim has it full of goodies while whistling love songs.

I bought my STX Dehydra 800-W-XLS 10 Tray from Mercantile Station and it was a great experience working with them and the product itself is a steal of a deal!! The dehydrator arrived earlier then the delivery confirmation said it would and it was packaged very well. It's an excellent machine with more functionality than some of the units priced at more than double this machine, which is why I opted for it. I had some issues figuring out how to use the machine as it's not as simple as turning it on, but the owner of the company personally helped me work through the operation of it and it's been on ever since!!!

I love this dehydrator and am so glad I took the risk of buying this less well known but certainly much more affordable one!! It's very quiet, which is something I was worried about. I have it on 24/7 right in my great room (kitchen/living room) and I hardly notice it on at all and the smells that come from it are positively devine!!! In short you won't find a better dehydrator out there and for the price it's a steal!! I would sooo recommend this dehydrator and the company Mercantile Station to anyone looking for a high quality, reliable, machine backed by a company who truly cares!!!

This product came up on Amazon in a search for 220v slow cookers. The reviews overall were good enough to make it seem a solid option. When the product arrived I was quite surprised to discover it is 120v, not 220v. It's the wattage that's 220. Shame on you, Amazon! You need to be more careful about search results and providing complete product information in the product description page, where neither voltage nor wattage were specified. For the price it isn't worth the hassle of trying to return it from overseas.

It's been cooking for the first time for the last three hours - read the instructions several times - they are minimal of course - not much is happening - I want to love this so went through instructions again. Wish me luck! It is beautiful however needs to perform at least to the expectations of the cheaper models.

This slow cooker takes a bit to get used to if you have been using a less expensive brand all of your life (like me). I'd say it is a true "slow cooker" and it does it's job impeccably. It makes everything from lasagne to soup to roasted meats and probably everything in between. The ceramic bowl & lid are perfect for storing remaining meals directly in the frige. Shipping was fast and the unit (which is quite heavy, by the way) was packed perfectly. I wouldn't have any other type of slow cooker now that I've experienced DeLonghi.

I received this pan as part of a Christmas gift. It has a large surface area for cooking and helper handles you can actually use. The handle is designed to rest on your forearm when lifting to distribute the weight. The lid fits in tightly so that moisture stays in the pan. I use a little Barkeepers Friend and the pan looks as though it has never been used. It is a gorgeous pan and cooks perfectly. It is sturdy and should last a life time

I'm switching to stainless steel pans after wearing out Circulon pans. Am I consuming the non-anodized coating? The Viking skillet is heavy and of high quality. You do not need to heat the pan above medium in order to cook and I find med-low the best setting. After using Circulon for years, I'm adjusting to meats sticking to the Viking pan, even though I keep the temperature on a lower setting. It is only an adjustment for me, and I recommend this pan to everyone!

So I've bought a few of the $30-40 blenders and knew from day one they wouldn't last. Those other models' first blend was shaking, vibrating, and hesitating. And dropping oil out the bottom of the jar is not encouraging.
By contrast I've used this KitchenAid now for 4 months and it remains solid as a rock, crunching through ice without hesitation.
It is average noise, which means like any blender best to take a step back and not hurt your ears.
I love the sturdy plastic jar, which is much less heavy than glass.
Of course it will wear out, and then I'll choose another in this line!

We purchased this blender from amazon.com at the end of September 2010, so that's 10 months of use. We only used it to make smoothies about 2 - 3 times per week. Today the sealing ring broke. It wasn't the most expensive one on the market but I have to admit, I expected more usage for the price. It wasn't the best even before the sealing ring broke. We'd very often find lumps in our smoothies but I expect that happens with many models in this price range.

Thanks to some excellent reviews of this product, it made my choice of which kit to order very easy. Install was a breeze; very good instructions. I drilled my pilot hole all the way through, rather than mark both sides of the door. Just make sure your drill is level and you are not drilling at an angle if you try this method.

Found that attaching the hoses took a little diligence, and the clamps don't necessarily work too well (beer hose clamp closed all the way but still not secure; pressure hose diameter is larger, so one clamp wouldn't engage at all. Not a problem though, as I can always get some better hose clamps later. Also, I wish the kit included the drip tray with the drain. Not sure why it wouldn't, being this is the "Deluxe Kit." Delivery was a bit slow, but everything arrived and there were no missing parts. And lastly...I purchased a Perlick tap as it is a much better design. Don't forget to order a cleaning kit as well. It's a must have!!!

I definitely recommend this kit to anyone who is considering a kegerator for the home (or office?) :)

What can I say that other have not already said. I purchased this product based on the great reviews. Took only minutes to install. Very easy setup. If you can, I would upgrade to a drip system with a drain. After going through 4 kegs already, it would be nice to have a drain after hooking up new keg and all the foam it gives off. Wish I would have converted my old fridge years ago. Cheers!

Short and sweet: This is a very well made juicer that is well thought out, easy to clean and damn-near fun to use.
Read the manual! Some of the complaints I've read are addressed in the manual, e.g. use the correct speed for what it is you are juicing.
Plastic. As far as I can tell the juice does not come in contact with any plastic other than the collection pitcher so, if plastic gets your goat, you can use a glass pitcher. Only the waste pulp comes in contact with the lexan lid. If this juicer came with a glass pitcher and lid I can only imagine the number of negative reviews for "pricey, fragile lid, heavy, breakable pitcher" it would get.

Pros- solidly built, easy to clean, easy to use, looks bad-ass sitting on your counter top.
Cons- If I had to nit pick it would be that I still have to cut up apples to fit the chute; and that is about it.

Summary- if this was any better it would either be a lot more expensive or it would grow, pick, and juice the fruits/vegetables for me.

Although the order came quickly, it arrived dirty. It looks very nice and sturdy, but it did not work. Returned for refund.

We have had the machine for three weeks and have been enjoying good espresso and lattes every morning. Teenage son has learned to make his own when he gets up in the morning. How nice is that! We all understand how the machine works, how to use it, how to clean it. So far, it's flawless and very much worth the investment. We have used several different kinds of beans in the hopper; we've tried the bypass for a single serving of ground beans and that worked well also.

On March 27th, we purchased a Saeco Syntia machine for $!,999,00 as aa gift. I assumed since we ordered it through Amazon, we were purchasing it through Amazon. It did not work after a few short weeks. The person we gave it to called Amazon and they said they could do nothing since it was from Central Chef not Amazon. It was a headache for the new owner. Beware, things bought through Amazon are not always from them, so they are much harder to return.
I would think Amazon should guarantee all items sold through their site.

I absolutely love this pattern. It's mirrored finish is just beautiful, and I've not been able to find anything else like it. The problem is, though, that it rusts. I've had 18/10 flatware before, and have never had this rust problem. The knives seem to rust on the actual smooth part as well as the hammered handle, and the others will get it on the handles. I'm so bummed because I can't find another pattern like it anywhere. So I have to give it only 1 star because of the rust.

Several guests have complimented these utensils. Good weight, good size for medium size hands.
Salad forks are perfect length for me (5'4"), but they may be too short for big hands (above 6ft)?

Overall, I LOVE them. :)

I just purchased this set and really like the hammered looking finish. The pieces all feel very weighty and are good sized for those who like more substantial flatware. The only thing I would like to point out is that it is 18/0 and not 18/10 as Amazon's product description states. However, for the $100, I think the 45 piece set is a great value and I hope it lasts me a while. I have not given the product 5 stars as I haven't used the flatware for very long yet and cannot comment on its durability or tendency to rust.
